Infant Formula - though we are still seeing photos and comments indicating difficulties finding formula the best news from 12/19 was that the USDA was allowing extension of WIC waivers until the end of Feb 28, 2023 and specialty infant formula until June 30, 2023 Letter to WIC State Agencies on Unwinding and Impacts of Infant Formula Shortage | Food and Nutrition Service (usda.gov)
Formula Scammers - Parents being scammed through Facebook formula finder is definitely a problem and something you should warn parents about. In some cases these people use various versions of the same name, claim they have large amounts of formula (>100 cans) and manage to trick people out of hundreds of dollars.
DIY? We have about 22 closed and private groups? Most all groups have at least one moderator and may have a couple of group experts. These dietitians are ones with experience in the particular area. You can find a listing of all of our groups under the “GROUPS” tab on our Facbook page.

Sponsorship and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
We’re not affiliated or sponsored by the Academy, but we do get questions about their sponsorship policies. We’ll point out that the Academy is a member organization and that you don’t have to belong to be a dietitian and that other member organizations like ASN and ASPEN also accept money from sponsors.
