Nancy - “I am now retired, but when actively working, I precepted interns from at least 6 different institutions over 25+ years. Actively attending conferences was also important to me.”
Devin B. - “I mentor and take interns. I also give back locally by providing free services to our at-risk programs that do not pay me. I have four young children and it’s important to teach people that we can balance our responsibilities as Dietitians and as a family.”
Deanne B. “Volunteering at all levels in the Academy including DPGs. Encouraging students and young RDNs to also get involved. Mentoring and precepting, especially those from underrepresented groups and those who have encountered roadblocks to completing their education and training.”
Aharon R. “Working to grow the Wound Care side of nutrition by mentoring others within my national health system, giving presentations/lectures nationally (and locally), and provide feedback on national institutional policy.”
