💡Spotlight: 2️⃣ Questions for Heather Nagy, MS, RDN, LDN, CDCES

Moderator for Build Up Dietitians CLINICAL group

Question #1: What do you currently do for work and what do you like best about it?

Answer: “I recently stepped down after 17 years as a CDCES at my local hospital to spend more time with my new grandbaby.  However, I am still working part-time as an item writer for Helm Publishing. I really like this position because it allows me to keep my clinical knowledge up to date and exposes me to a variety of professional books I probably otherwise wouldn't have read.”

Question #2: What's one thing you've learned by being a moderator for Build UP Dietitians?

Answer: “Being a moderator for BUD has reinforced to me how important it is that RDs have a way to learn from one another. I enjoy reading the posts from various RDs trying to help answer another's question!”
