(Lauren is a moderator in our Build Up Dietitians RENAL group)

Question #1: What do you currently do as a dietitian?

“I work clinical inpatient and outpatient kidney transplant.”

Question #2: What nutrition topic or question in your group really made an impression on you or stuck with you?

“I always find the questions about PTH management, phosphorus management and hyperkalemia to be the most interesting. It’s like a mystery we all get to solve together! Sometimes dialysis/CKD patients can be a clinical mystery and very interesting to work with. In other groups I think my most interested topic is weight loss as that’s been a very hot topic with the weight loss medications. I love hearing different perspectives and patient experiences with these meds as we are all still learning so much about this topic.”
