Q1: What is your "day job" as a dietitian?
Answer: “I’m a Clinical Nutrition Manager IV for Sodexo. I cover 3 hospitals within the Methodist Healthcare System in and around San Antonio, TX. I’m also working on my Doctor of Clinical Nutrition.”
Q2: What is your "side hustle" and how did you get into this?
Answer: “I’m a Chef Instructor with Sur La Table. I love cooking and teaching. I started working there as a fun way to destress after long days in the hospitals.
I do this for fun, though the extra pay and discounts are a plus. For dietitians that enjoy cooking, teaching it to others can be another avenue for income. In addition to my current job, I have also designed and taught cooking classes for the local botanical garden.”
