Savannah M. "You just taught me more than any doctor ever has."
Theresa D. “You never make me feel badly about myself.”
Pam B. “Just had a patient and his wife tell me that they adore me and are so grateful for my help in keeping them on track with his diabetes. That I am the reason they drive a distance and stay with our clinic.”
Karen A. “Last week I had a follow up with a patient who brought his wife this time. His wife said I helped their marriage. I was very confused as to how that could be. She then told me because he’s eating right and is no longer hangry so they’re having way less fights!”

3.Substack: “Doctors Don’t Know How to Talk to People About Nutrition”
From dietitian Cara Harbstreet on
“Well-intentioned though it may be, this paper shows us that many doctors are stepping out of scope when they bring up nutrition with their patients. They simply don’t have the right training or experience….
…But at the end of the day, you don’t need your doctor to be a nutrition expert. You just need them to refer you to one.”
4. The infamous journal ‘Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine’ is no more! 😲
“The webpage for Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, a journal that had dubious publication standards, now includes this announcement by its publisher, John Wiley & Sons Ltd: “Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine ceased publishing as of September 2024.” A PubMed search reveals 1,497 papers in the journal have been retracted. It previously became front-page news: “John Wiley & Sons, a global publication house with revenues north of $2 billion, announced on May 19, 2024, that it was closing 19 journals it acquired as part of its 2021 purchase of Egypt-based Hindawi publishing company, citing large-scale research fraud.”
